On Wednesday, August 12th, in St. Louis, Missouri, Hulvey took the stage at The Sovereign, where I stood in front of the crowd barrier with my camera ready to capture the moments. Hulvey brought his “Could Be Tonight” Tour to St. Louis, and he did not disappoint.

The venue was packed with fans ready to hear Hulvey, Indie Tribe., and Kijan Boone. I have had the opportunity to see Hulvey perform live before, and his energy on stage is something you must experience for yourself. From the moment he walked on stage, the crowd was hyped and ready to go crazy.

Hulvey brings a unique style to Christian hip-hop that combines catchy melodies, hard-hitting production, and lyrics that point back to his faith. Throughout the night, you could see how much his music means to the people in the room. Whether the crowd was jumping along to an upbeat song or singing every word to a more personal track, there was never a moment where the energy died down.

Indie Tribe. also brought a ton of energy to the stage, making it easy to see why they have become such a recognizable name in Christian hip-hop. Kijan Boone helped round out the lineup with his own sound and style, giving everyone something different to experience throughout the night.

Some of my personal favorite songs from Hulvey are “Altar,” “Love Like That,” “Beautiful,” and “Can’t Tell It All.” From his new album, songs I have on repeat are “Influencers,” “Come Alive,” “Automatic,” and “Separation.”

Overall, Hulvey’s stop at The Sovereign was an incredible night filled with music, energy, and faith. As the first stop on his “Could Be Tonight” Tour, it was clear that Hulvey is ready to take his message on the road and share the Gospel with cities across the country this fall.
