1. At what age did you realize that music was your passion?
“Probably when I was 21, I knew it was my passion since 17 but I didn’t know how much work and dedication it really took until then, so that’s when I started.”
2. When did you really start pursuing music with laser focus?
“Probably when I was 21, I knew it was my passion since 17 but I didn’t know how much work and dedication it really took until then, so that’s when I started.”
3. What advice do you have for someone who is beginning to pursue making music?
“I’d probably say 4 things.
1. Make real music with real emotions about real life, because that’s the most fulfilling music you can make, and it’s also what people will relate to the most.
2. Work harder than anyone else you know and you should be just fine.
3. Make sure there is nothing else in the world you do more than music, your favourite artists you aspire to be like live and breathe this life, so that means you should too.
4. Do your best to be happy and healthy and keep close to your family. While you pursue this dream, sometimes you get so caught up in the work and trying to make it happen that you forget the simple things you need in life, then you can end up falling even more behind because you don’t have those really important foundations anymore.”

4. What’s your favorite song that you’ve made?
“Probably Bad Dreams, it just happened so quick and it felt so natural.”
5. If you had to pick 1... who has been your favorite person to work with?
“Probably Fossa Beats, when we’re in the studio he just lets me do whatever I want, even if it means I end up doing half the production myself. I think a lot of the time producers try too much, for me the best producers just listen to the artist and keep an open mind without any ego attached.”
6. Who do you see yourself collaborating with next?
“Maybe a dope artist from LA as I’ll be going there this year!”

7. If you could thank 2 people right now who would it be and why?
“Probably my first ever manager Sean, because he really taught me how to work harder than anybody else and I think that’s my superpower now. And then my engineer Trae, because he started working with me for free and helping me out back when I was getting like 100 plays on all my songs.”
8. What artist did you listen to most growing up?
“Mac Miller! My all time favourite, honestly don’t think I’d even make music if it wasn’t for him. I’ve even got him tatted twice on my body.“
