1. At what age did you realize that this was your true passion?

I realized that music was my true passion around 10 years old when I started taking piano lessons. I fell in love with creating melodies, and reading music and just learning about it in general. I think it has always been a form of creative expression and therapy.

2. When did you really start pursuing music with laser focus?

I started pursuing music professionally about 4 years ago in 2018, I started getting in the studio a lot more and working with different A&R’s to figure out what my sound was. It is an amazing process to see the growth from where I started, to where I am now. I just try to always remember each day to bring that same passion to the studio that I had when I first started.

3. What advice do you have for someone who is just starting out?

I will say to just make sure you focus on artist development and not the stats. So many people get caught up in metrics so much that it prohibits them from continuing to put music out. Just remember good things take time, and that you are exactly where you need to be.

4. What is your favorite song that you've made?

My favorite song that I have made would be one called “Cycles” that I released earlier this year. It is a very moody track that was fun to create at the studio.

5. If you could thank one person right now who would it be and why?

I would thank my manager Lindsay and my team for supporting me to create the best music possible. And also my family, and close friends for keeping me humble and focused on improving.

6. Who do you see yourself collaborating with next?

I would like to hopefully collaborate with some artists in Southern California like: Destin Conrad, Jelani Aryah, Jon Keith.

7. What has been your most memorable moment?

My favorite moment was performing at Chain Reaction in Orange County and having the entire crowd singing along to my song “Diamonds”. It was so cool to experience that, I hope to have many more songs that can have an impact like that.

8. If you could go back in time and change one thing, what would it be?

I am a strong believer that I am exactly where I need to be, but for sake of the question I would probably start doing therapy earlier in life.

9. What do you do to decompress?

I usually meditate everyday, and go to the beach. I like listening to audiobooks as well, as it helps me get out of my own mind and see new perspectives.

10. What advice do you have for someone who gets stuck on this journey?

I would tell them that getting stuck is a part of the process. Sometimes you have to re-evaluate it all, and even start completely over at times. But the most important thing is to keep going, you only lose when you stop.
