The Wrecks came through Phoenix on 8/21/21 and AZ will never be the same. The music genre is indie rock but they also have an alternative sound. They have just over a million monthly listeners (at the date of posting this) and they are definitely worth checking out.

If you like to sit and listen to a concert than this is not the band for you. The Wrecks definitely know how to create and sustain energy in the crowd.

2020 was a hard year for musicians/bands as venues were closed and concerts were cancelled left and right. Musicians thrive on energy and to take that away could really cause some serious setbacks.

Now that things are open it can and will be very emotional to be in a crowd after such a long hiatus. Feeling the energy that has been stifled for over a year can be overwhelming. And that is true for this band.

Band leader, Nick Anderson, had a few emotional moments as he connected with and opened up to the crowd. At one time Nick could be heard saying to the crowd, “You guys… (emotional pause)… you give me life.”

The excitement continued as guitarist (Aaron Kelley) leaned off the stage and into the crowd and continued to go absolutely ham on his guitar. The crowd went wild!

This was a much needed event and The Wrecks did NOT disappoint.
